The organization has joined the Coptic Church in serving the poor Copts in Egypt, especially in Upper Egypt, notably an indigent area. The mission is to visit and perform long-lasting case work for those who are penniless, thus resulting in aid. It is clear that poverty increases Christians’ vulnerability to religious intolerance, elevates health risks, weakens families, and tears down relationships.
Breaking the poverty cycle is the ultimate goal for each family. Thus, families living in extreme poverty receive monthly food assistance. Children receive Bibles and school supplies to help nurture growth both spiritually and intellectually. Those with disabilities or illnesses receive medical care, equipment, regular hygiene assistance, and housekeeping services. Qualified Copts are able to start, grow, and/or maintain their own Small businesses. Those who need it the most, receive home repairs – in many cases home rebuilding – furniture, appliances, debt relief, and wedding assistance for ladies.
